Gila Valley Temple!

 

We took our kids out of school on Wed the 12th to go through the open house of the Gila Valley Temple! It is gorgeous inside and out! We went down with Kyle and Julie Peck and Lynn Browne Wagner- Brian's boss! We all went through it, were totally amazed! The marble moulding, the gorgeous chandeliers, the beautiful paintings! Tawnee and I fell in love with the chandelier in the Bride's room, we have never seen anything like it! After the Temple we went to visit Heidi James (Frost)- she was so kind to let us change at her house. Then we all went to a Mexican restaurant and then went to get ice cream and headed home!! Super quick trip but a fun time!

Isn't this so cute?!! Kiara Vowell's cousin from Eager is coming to my house Thurs. May 6th from 10-12 in the morning to show her watches!! Come on by - great price and super cute!! Tawnee is already thinking about her graduation announcements!! Since Saturday was one of those gorgeous days WITHOUT wind - she asked if we could go take some shots! She uploaded them and edited them and did a great job - I sure think she's pretty - but I might be predjudice!!

Jarret's Pinewood Derby!

 

 

 

 

What a kid! He enjoyed every minute of it - and didn't care a bit if he won! AND He didn't come in dead last!! He designed his car, we helped him cut it,he sanded, painted, and even tried to put the wheels on, but Dad put a stop to that one!! He won the most aerodynamic car award and he was thrilled!!! Way to go J!

Mogollon

Tonight we surprised our YW and took them to see Mogollon! I was in the office at the High School talking to Marty today and in walks the guys from the band! They graduated from Snowflake High School in 1981, and were wanting to see the school. They asked if we were coming to the concert and we told them we had mutual!! They said bring your girls and we'll get them in, and give them backstage passes! We were so excited! Only one of our girls had ever even heard of the band - so we hyped it up pretty good and took them! We had a fun time - they were super nice to us, even signed their programs, and had a 1 on 1 time with their violin! Great time - hope the girls loved it!

 

 

 

 

Grama's Easter Egg Hunt!

 

 

 

 

Every year Grama has an Easter Egg hunt for all the grandkids - they all line up for a picture, then we let them go wild and get the easter eggs. This year each kid could only get 1 clear egg! It had a number in it and they could pick in order a fun prize that grama had laid out for them! It was a HIT! The kids loved it - and of course there was candy in the easter eggs too! Thanks GRAMA for all your hard work! Then after all the kiddos are done, she does an adult easter egg hunt! All the adults have to go outside and she hides an egg for each person - inside are some cool prizes! $$$$$, lotion, books, games! I think she gets more of a kick out of the adult egg hunt than the kids! We sure love her for all the fun things she does for us!!

The Easter Bunny was sure good to them!!

 

 

 

 

We had a wonderful Easter!! So glad that conference fell on Easter Sunday - it was relaxing, and nice to hear great council from our prophet and leaders.
