I sure love this guy!!

I know what a corny pose - and he will probably be so mad at me when he sees this - but He is my {Love} He makes me laugh all the time! He's never afraid of being himself - I do feel bad sometimes because I apologize to others for his craziness, and he always asks why I do that! I just want him to know how much I LOVE him, he makes my day!!!

Easter Egg Anticipation!

Every year Grama Brimhall and Carissa do an Easter Egg Hunt for the Grandkids who can come. This year was super fun - We always have to pose before we go out to the big hunt!

On Your Mark, Get Set, GOOOO!!!!

Carissa and Grama's Easter Egg Hunt!

Tawnee won the Gold grand prize egg! She won a huge sheep stuffed animal! Jarret hunting eggs - of course he had to stop and pose!
Even my 14 year old Jeremy loves to hunt for eggs!

Jordan is the great competitor egg hunter and he stopped to pose too!

Everyone after the big hunt waiting to go through their eggs! Grama and Carissa stuffed the eggs with candy - they give them their own bag with their name on them to empty their candy from the eggs. Thank Easter Bunny! (family joke)

Our Spring Break!

We went to Tucson with the Austins for our Spring Break - we sure had a great time! It was perfect weather, 75 degrees, and some days a slight breeze! We swam, went to the Tucson zoo, hiked Sabino Canyon, hiked Tumamoc Mtn, went to a Diamondbacks game, went to Amazing Jake's, stayed with Joe and Talia, lost 1 transmission in our truck, and did alot of window shopping! The tranny went out in the truck, so we were stuck 1 more day in Phoenix. Which was fun cause we got to hang out more with the Austin's, the Clare's and the Johnsons!! Thanks for being such great friends and such fun people to hang out with!! Thanks for all you do for us! Tawnee, Tanner, Shayna, and Brooklyn shooting the frog fountain
Jord in the turtle shell

Jordan and Tawnee feeding the giraffe

Jordan, Jeremy, and Jarret feeding the ducks

Our Family at the zoo!
We have lots more pictures - but we'll spare you! Thanks Willis' for feeding our animals, and Mom and Dad for letting them stay at your house!! Our little farm wouldn't survive without you! And the continuing saga of our spring break continues!!

continued..............

We hiked to Sabino Canyon with the Austins - it's sure a pretty hike and that day was a cool afternoon with a slight breeze! We hiked into the dam and all took our shoes off and waded in the water! Perfect day! Posing at the first dam

We stopped at Eegee's - a local sub shop and picked up lunch, and took it out to Sabino Canyon and chowed down!

Brian and Pat in the water

As we were talking about starting back in - we sent the kids back to get their shoes and socks on, the adults were down stream just a ways, and the kids had to go upstream to get their shoes! Well, Jarret headed up there and got his shoes and socks on, but couldn't find anyone, so he got scared and hiked the 2 miles back to the truck. In the meantime we waited for Jarret and called for him, and then I started to panic and pray. We went up the trail, then back down, and back to the dam, and all over calling his name. Brian took off running down the paved trail, and stopped a park ranger and they said they saw him. I went down the trail we came up with everyone, my heart pounding the whole time, praying quietly that he would be ok. About 1/4 of the way down, Jarret called my cell phone - he had climbed in the back of Brian's camper up to the front and found Brian's cell phone. Brian told me when we got to the dam that he had forgotten his cell phone, well I am sure glad he did because Jarret was able to call me. He was crying so hard, and was so scared. He thought we had left him, so he just headed down by himself. There's a few turns in the road, so we are just glad he kept taking the right turns to make it back! We are so glad he is safe, but we sure missed out on some fun photo ops at the big dam!!

Continued.................

While we were staying in Tucson for Spring Break - we were invited to Jolene's sister Lorraine's house for dinner Monday night - it was delicious! Lorraine is a very active lady, and she asked us to come and hike Tumamoc mtn at 5:30 in the morning! I was very hesitant, but Brian said that we needed to turn over a new leaf and be active! So we did it - and boy was it hard!! But we can say we did it! Jolene and I kept up the tail of the group - Brian, Pat and Lorraine beat us up there, and got to enjoy the view a little longer than we did, but HA now we have proof that we can do it! It took us about 55 minutes up, and 5 minutes down - just kidding, but it sure felt that way! It was so steep that it was nothing to come down! The ASU LaCrosse team had to RUN it twice, they made it to the top when we did, and we passed them on our way down about the 1/2 way up mark for them! They were fast - I bet next time we can do it as fast as them - NOT!! The view was gorgeous though!

continued...........

The Gardner's and the Austin's at the Diamondbacks/Giants Spring Training Game at Tucson Electric Park! Jordan was trying so hard to catch a fly ball! But he did get his glove signed!

Brian enjoying his Dippin' Dots!

Jarret and Jordan also enjoying the dippin dots!

Oh, and Jeremy enjoyin' them too!

Thanks to the Austins, Johnsons, and Clare's for helping to make our spring break such a blast!!

Jarret's Pinewood Derby!

This was Jarret's first pinewood derby! He was super excited to finally get to race his own car. He's been watching his big brothers race, and wanted to build and race it all by himself! He designed it, and with the help of Mom and Dad cut it out, painted it, and Dad put the wheels on! He got 6th place out of 18. He got the award for most aerodynamic. He was in smiles all night and thoroughly enjoyed himself! Way to go J!
