Tawnee's 8th Grade Promotion

Tawnee's had her dress picked out for 3 months now - she had everything picked out exactly how she wanted it! Grama Brimhall made a few adjustments to her dress so it would be modest! Thanks Grama! She had everything planned from Carissa doing her hair - to her flower, ring - from Sister Papa!, shoes (which she added a rhinestone too!) She was surprised with a necklace and earrings from her Aunt Carissa, and I surprised her with a watchlette that matched her dress! She was decked out! When she was getting ready she kept saying, I can't believe it's here, I can't believe I am going to be a freshman. Well, now it's official - so watch out High School, here she comes!!!

Dodge Ball Tourney

Jeremy and a bunch of his friends decided to enter in the Dodge Ball Tournament! It was the Friday before Prom - On Thursday night they all got together and made their shirts and decided the name of their team. BALLS OF FURY! They had a great time - actually I had more fun watching and laughing at them. They lost out in only 2 games, but they sure had alot of fun!

Jarret's Spelling Bee

Jarret has always been such a great speller! It came time for the Spelling bee and he'd been practicing so hard - he won 1st in his class, and was invited to go to the grade level spelling bee. He did so great and was one of the last 5 left. He got the word STAMMER - wow we hadn't studied that one before. He kinda paniced and asked them to repeat it! He spelled it, but with only one M - he got out. He was good though, Happy he made it!!

Gila Valley Temple!

We took our kids out of school on Wed the 12th to go through the open house of the Gila Valley Temple! It is gorgeous inside and out! We went down with Kyle and Julie Peck and Lynn Browne Wagner- Brian's boss! We all went through it, were totally amazed! The marble moulding, the gorgeous chandeliers, the beautiful paintings! Tawnee and I fell in love with the chandelier in the Bride's room, we have never seen anything like it! After the Temple we went to visit Heidi James (Frost)- she was so kind to let us change at her house. Then we all went to a Mexican restaurant and then went to get ice cream and headed home!! Super quick trip but a fun time!
