They all survived!

Their first day of school - It was bitter sweet for me to drop them off this year! They have been bored for a while, and they've been fighting a bit - so I was so ready for them to go back! We needed structure (not that I couldn't do it - but school helps a ton, when you have to be up and ready!!) They got up early, we went for a walk - got showered, ready, dressed and at the breakfast table ready to read scriptures at 7 a.m.! We had time to visit, give advice and instruction - and not feel so rushed! Brian and I dropped all the kids off - Jarret was first, and my kids all said Mom are you crying yet? I said heck no - we dropped Tawnee off - she immediately found her friends, we dropped Jord off and he headed to see Grama, and then went over to the High School and let Jeremy out! THAT was when I lost it!! I never thought I'd cry (other than sending all my kids to Kindergarten!) I was SUPER scared for Jeremy - all the others are in the same schools that they have been in for a while! All my kids are in a different school this year, and I was just so worried for Jeremy! High School was a blast for me, but I remember being a freshman, not knowing the school, having kids soooo much bigger than me, and having to remember my classes, trying to find my friends! Boy, did all the memories come rushing back! Well they all survived - they actually loved it! Jarret said this was the best day of his 3rd grade life! Jeremy, Tawnee, and Jord are all in sports - so we don't even see them until 6 or 7:30 - which is crazy for dinner time, but we'll try to make it all work!!

Then came this morning - the NEWNESS has worn OFF! Back to the same 'ole same 'ole!!

Jarret's Scout Trip to the Fire Station

Jarret's scout troop got to visit the Taylor Firestation - where his Dad works! He loved to show everything off to his friends. They gave them a tour of the ambulance and Fire trucks and let them slide down the fire pole! They also gave them their own fire hat - a pencil and some stickers! They all had a blast! Thanks Brian, Nolan, and Dave!

This Dang Dog!!

Made this family cry!! She escaped along with my parent's dalmation - last wednesday the 1st of July. We were in Flagstaff for Tawnee's allstar game and we got a phone call from Uncle Brandon saying they were gone. We came home and looked and searched and prayed and cried, and yesterday just kind of accepted that she was gone. Well Jordan decided to fast yesterday that we would find her, and Tawnee had a birthday wish that she would be found! Well they both worked - we got a phone call today that she was in the pound in Snowflake, as well as my parents dalmation! When we went to pick her up - Jordan just kept saying "see fasting works" and Tawnee kept saying "well it was MY birthday wish" I think that Heavenly Father heard our prayers and wishes and granted them!! We're so glad to have her back - dirty and all!!

Tawnee's a Teenager!

Today is Tawnee's 13th Birthday! She's defenitely a teenager now! We sure love her, and are so glad she's in our family - she's a great help, a peacemaker, a fabulous cleaner, a crazy burper, a silly giggler, and a happy girl! She loves being with her friends (more than her family) but who can blame her with 3 brothers. We hope you have a super fun day - and enjoy your teen years!!

We had a party for Tawnee and Colter - decorated with lots of balloons and crepe paper!
