Pumpkin Carving

Tonight we decided to carve pumpkins! The kids were so serious - every one of my boys carve pumpins like my mom when she cuts things! They always have to use their tongue to "guide" them. It cracks me up! Go boys!

As you can tell Jarret got the biggest pumpkin in the patch! When he was carving it, he was so disappointed that it wasn't bigger, but he was glad cause he hates to clean the "guts" of the pumpkins, and there certainly wasn't much with this one!

This is the decor at our house with the pumpkins all lit up!

Family!

I love my family! We got to have a fun weekend (of course 1/2 of it was in Page for us) but thanks to my great family for keeping an eye on my kiddos! We were able to be there when Aadyn and Greysen were blessed. It was fun to have everyone there. Not very often does that happen! Thank goodness Thanksgiving is coming cause we all get to be together again!

Brian's Triathalon in Page!

Brian as been training for a while with Lynn Johnson to do this triathlon. We went on Sat the 18th to Page to cheer these guys on! This is Brian's first one - he did the sprint - having to swim 750 meters ( in lake Powell) ride 12 miles on his bike, and run 3 miles. He loved it all! I am so proud of him for working hard and accomplishing what he set out to do! He did it all in 1 hour 28 minutes. Wow- that's awesome for his very first one! I'm so proud of you babe!! Brian did so great that he won 2nd place in his weight and age category! He won this "really cool" medal! He was proudly showing it off!

On the way home we stopped in Flagstaff to "reward" the boys for their hard work, we went to Red Lobster! Joe, Brian, and Lynn had an all you can eat shrimp contest! Of course it was shrimp fest! Joe beat the boys - he won at 72 shrimp! I think they were pretty stuffed at the end! Thanks for the fun trip!

Brian is so hooked on Triathalons that he's doing another one November 1st in Casa Grand! Way to go babe!!

Ok - I totally screwed up the last 2 posts! I am so not figuring this blogging thing out! So it cut off my initial post and all of the info and put it into it's own post, and then my pictures show up later! Along with a huge space for where my info should be!
