Brian's Tri in the Pines!

This past Saturday Brian and a bunch of friends did the Tri in the Pines - they all did awesome! Brian has been training for so long and really loves it! He was in the 4th heat - they start off in the pool and swim 625 meters then head to the bike ride 12 miles and end with 3 miles running - he did this all in 1 hr 30 minutes and 04 seconds! He got 3rd place in the Clydesdale division - Great job honey!

Swimming - in the same lane with Joe Clare
Coming into on the bike portion - kickin' trash on his bike!! He's got the legs to prove it!!
Coming into the finish line!

73 is his number!

This is the blue and white scrimmage today between the freshman and sophmore's tonight!
Jeremy is the right guard for offense! He's a great shover! It was fun to see him play again! Last year he couldn't play because of his mouth accident - so we're back into SNOWFLAKE FOOTBALL!! Go LOBOS!

Togetherness!

Last shot - before we go to school! I love that they do love each other - even though they do fight!!
I got to hang out with this super cute chickie yesterday!! She kept me busy not worrrying about my kids! It's her first time in a forward facing car seat!! Isn't she cute! I love how the straps push her ears forward and they fold!

They all survived!

Their first day of school - It was bitter sweet for me to drop them off this year! They have been bored for a while, and they've been fighting a bit - so I was so ready for them to go back! We needed structure (not that I couldn't do it - but school helps a ton, when you have to be up and ready!!) They got up early, we went for a walk - got showered, ready, dressed and at the breakfast table ready to read scriptures at 7 a.m.! We had time to visit, give advice and instruction - and not feel so rushed! Brian and I dropped all the kids off - Jarret was first, and my kids all said Mom are you crying yet? I said heck no - we dropped Tawnee off - she immediately found her friends, we dropped Jord off and he headed to see Grama, and then went over to the High School and let Jeremy out! THAT was when I lost it!! I never thought I'd cry (other than sending all my kids to Kindergarten!) I was SUPER scared for Jeremy - all the others are in the same schools that they have been in for a while! All my kids are in a different school this year, and I was just so worried for Jeremy! High School was a blast for me, but I remember being a freshman, not knowing the school, having kids soooo much bigger than me, and having to remember my classes, trying to find my friends! Boy, did all the memories come rushing back! Well they all survived - they actually loved it! Jarret said this was the best day of his 3rd grade life! Jeremy, Tawnee, and Jord are all in sports - so we don't even see them until 6 or 7:30 - which is crazy for dinner time, but we'll try to make it all work!!

Then came this morning - the NEWNESS has worn OFF! Back to the same 'ole same 'ole!!
