Whew - after alot of tears and a few naughty words...

I got my blog back up and running - (HUGE thank you to my sweetheart for helping me) Not sure what I did to make it disappear, but I guess no more cutesy designs for me, or saving all my contacts before I do so - I'm still trying to remember everyone I blog stalk ;) !!! JK!

On another note : I was called to be the assistant to Lisa Eich for our Stake Sweetheart Ball - which means next year I will be in charge! The theme for this year was The Love Boat - boy was it alot of fun! We put up a false ceiling, decorated the gym like the deck of a boat, had port holes, lights, flags, and lots of water! Right in the foyer we had it decorated like you board the ship, and you meet the "Captains" - isn't Brian soo handsome!?!! I was the "photographer" on board, and we took pictures of all the couples walking in! It was so much fun! To all you who didn't attend - we'd love to see you next year~ it will be a 50's theme!

Jordan is 11!

He made his own cake, and is so proud of it!!
I swear I turned this!!

Posing with his presents, and Koli

I swear I turned this one too! We've started a new tradition in the Brimhall Family! We give $ so they can buy what they would like to! Jordan is showing off his wad!!

Happy 11th Birthday - Kiddo!

Today is Jordan's big day! He's officially 11- He came into this world in a hurry (*story to follow) and his personality has always been one that has to hurry! He's the first one to get his chores done, first one to get his room clean, everything is a competition to see who's first! He's always been so aggressive in sports, and he loves every sport! He is a lover, he's always been concerned for the one who is hurt, (well, most of the time he has done the hurting) but he always says sorry! He loves babies - it's helped that we have had 4 babies since May!! He loves to talk silly to them, and make faces, and bounce them! He is the first one in bed, and the first to get up, he is the first one to the breakfast table, first one to the dinner table. He never eats big meals, he just snacks all day! Probably why he's so healthy! He is always moving - he doesn't like to sit still. When he plays games he is always moving, whether it's his legs, arms, or his mouth - we have to quite often ask him to sit still or shut his mouth! When he was little, he was our climber, he would always climb on top of the cabinets to find my candy "stash" - he always seemed to find it wherever I would put it! More often than not he would get caught, and he would always stutter an say "I I I I just gonna smell it, or I I I I just gonna taste it! Of course we would just crack up and laugh. Jordan was blessed with excema (sp) really bad! When he was 12 months to 5 years - he would constanty have either a huge patch of excema on his face, arms, back of his legs, or elbows, or tummy! He had a hard time not scratching it, we usually had to drench him in vaseline, and wrap his arms and legs in saran wrap so he wouldn't scratch it, and to keep moisture in it. He would always come into our room at night, and sleep on our floor and scratch all night. It would draw blood and he would rub his legs and arms on the carpet (all when he wasn't quite awake) and it would look like a snow angel pattern in blood on our carpet every morning! So we'd clean it up, and it would start again the next night! That actually only lasted for a few months in the winter - but he would always have some kind of scab somewhere! Dr. Coss told us that there is a possibility he could grow out of it - if he does grow out of it by the age of 8 it may never return! He received a blessing to help his skin, and the more he grew, the better his skin looked - and by the age of 8 he had grown out of it! He really has the nicest skin of all. He sure has blessed our lives so much, he's brought joy and tears, but we're so glad he's ours!
*Ok - here's the reason why he's always in a hurry!
Jordan wasn't due until the 15th of February - but at midnight on morning of February 11th my water broke! It was my first kid that my water broke on it's own. I just thought maybe I had wet my pants, (I can't believe I admitted that on the internet!) So I changed and went back to bed, well 5 minutes later I thought I wet my pants again!! This happened 3 times! Oh, how embarrassing! After the 3rd time, I thought there is no way this can be, so I called Brian (who just let that morning to head back to the valley for work - I had begged him not to go!) and told him my water broke, well he was selling cars at the time, and didn't have an extra vehicle to drive up. He was staying at a friends house, and went to ask him if he could borrow his car, and told him my water broke, and his friend said "well, can't she just call a plumber?" We still laugh to this day about that! He eventually got a hold of my sister Kristen who lives in the valley, and borrowed her car to get up here! Meanwhile, I called the doctor, contractions started really hurting, and I called my parents to take me up to the hospital! My Dad came and stayed with my 2 other kids, and my Mom drove me to the hospital. My mom was praying the whole time that we would make it, cause I think I was squeezing her hand off with each contraction! She wheeled me into the ER, and took me back to the OB department, and they checked me and said I was at a 7, and this was only about 2:30 - 3:00 in the morning. I begged for an epidural, and they said it was too late! They gave me some stadol (sp?) and it knocked me out! Good stuff!!!! They woke me up at about 4:30 and said you're complete, let's start pushing - well Brian still hadn't shown up!! So I started pushing, and finally Brian walked in at 5:02, Jordan was born at 5:21 a.m. and Brian said - Wow we should do this every time!! He was gorgeous, huge (8 lbs 9 3/4 oz. and 23" long) and so sweet! He hardly ever cried, and was so patient!! Heavenly Father knew I needed a good 3rd child! Then when he hit 1 year, oh boy was he a handful! But we made it this far and he's so sweet!! Happy Birthday Jordie!!

Late Start - Snow Day!

February 2009
February 2008

We woke up to a beautiful blanket of white snow! It was snowing off and on yester

day, but it never would stick. Well last night it did! My mom texted me and said it's a 2 hour delay, and you would have thought it was Christmas morning the way my kids reacted! We got to play the Wii, and take our time getting ready! Last year I took my kids to school, and got a picture in front of the wash that was frozen over, so this year I wanted to do it again! They actually were excited to do it this year, you can see a little change on Jeremy's face! They wanted to see the difference! Then I wanted to play with my camera and try some settings, and these other ones are what I got, of course Jeremy wasn't too thrilled to take anymore than the 1 he was excited about! I sure love winter for the fun snow pictures! But I do love to see winter go, and spring come! Bundle up, and stay warm, drink lots of hot chocolate, and cuddle up with those you love!

London's Run!

This weekend, we were able to go to Queen Creek, and go to a Super Neat Fundraiser, called London's Run. This little girl named London Solomon passed away from Leukemia 3 years ago, and they have done this run to benenfit kids with cancer every year since! It was at Schnepf farms right around the corner from Joe and Talia's house! Perfect weather, great company, and a great time had by all!
On our Way! Brian and Lynn went ahead to get our registration and numbers.

Brian and I, and Jordan and Jarret just before the race!

Paula and I coming into the finish line! We got to walk with Candace and Landon!

Brian and Lynn coming in from the 10 K! Great job boys! 56 minutes!!
We couldn't find Jordan after the race - he ran ahead of me on the 2 mile - He wanted to win it - well he missed the turn on the 2 mile, and he ended up running the 10 K! He was so not happy that he did that, because he was by himself (yeah, he was that far ahead of me!!) and thought he was going the right way! We were so proud of him though - he decided that he likes running! He came in only 20 minutes after Brian did and Brian started the 10K 10 minutes before we started the 2 mile, so he got a pretty good time! Jordan is going to run with Brian in April for Pat's Run - where they run 4 miles, and run right into ASU stadium! He can't wait!
